Abstract

This book comes to fill an acute need of society to some extent. Without necessarily being a manual at the disposal of teachers who would dare to practice philosophy for children in primary school, guiding them step by step in this daring enterprise, this book has the great merit of offering them, however, the essential guidelines for it to be carried out in a correct, undistorted way. Moreover, Marin Bălan also deals with the theoretical foundations of philosophy for children, but also with its history, so that his book offers us an overview, synthetic and extremely revealing of what philosophy means for children.
