Ștefan Vianu's work, Forbidden Meaning. Truth, Becoming, Habitation, contains ten essays on the phenomenology of life, understood as a description of the conditions in which any attempt to transform the inner life into the essence of the interior life can become possible starting from poetic language (in a somewhat generic sense, encompassing mythical thought, religion, art, imagination, literary works, cultural values), if not at least different from scientific and everyday language (essential difference, explored and exploited in multiple ways, in the web of ideas of the book).
